Having a name like Swanson was god-given to capitalize on 'Son of Swan' idea, it being in total harmony with the family and its personal hands-on ethos. Different bottles with white and gold graphics fired directly onto the brands reflect different price points.
A Family business established in1985 by
American banker W. Clarke Swanson Jr.
Passionate about wine, he bought two
vineyards in Oakville in the prestigious
Napa Valley, adjacent to Opus One and
Silver Oak Cellars. Clarke’s aim was to
produce no more than 25,000 cases
annually focusing on classics like Pinot
Grigio, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
of the highest award winning quality.
